Girish graduated in Naval Architecture and Ship Building from Cochin University of Science and Technology (www.cusat.ac.in) in 1997. He started his career with HMG Engineering Pvt. Ltd, a private company in Mumbai, India and involved in repair of vessels at their site office in Cochin Shipyard. Later he Shifted to Saudi Arabia and joined a company Dena BMS Company Limited, a company involved in ship repair at their yard in Dammam Port, Saudi Arabia. He was involved in repair of various vessels such as cargo vessel, tankers, jack up rigs, tugs etc. He then joined in Cochin shipyard Limited (www.cochinshipyard.com) in 2001 as Assistant Manager‐Design and involved in design of tugs, trailing hopper suction dredger, launch barge and fire floats. In 2003 he relocated to Dubai and joined Albwardy Marine Engineering (www.albwardymarine.com) as Engineering Manager in new construction. The company was renamed as Damen Shipyard Sharjah (www.damensharjah.com). He was involved in design and production support for new building of various vessels including Anchor handing vessels, crew boats, dredgers, floating docks, tugs, barges and pontoons. He was also involved in engineering support for various conversion projects undertaken by the company.

Girish has vast experience in the marine field during a career exceeding 19 years. He has through knowledge of basic design, naval architectural calculations and various Class rules. He has expertise in detailed engineering for various new building, repair and conversion projects as well as structural calculations. He was involved in commercial activities related to new building and repair tender specification and costing.


 

ANIL DANIEL ABRAHAM

Anil Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Trivandrum, India (http://www.cet.ac.in/) in 1993. He started his career with Southern Refineries, India as Operations Engineer. Later he joined Grasim Industrial, India before moving to Dubai. In 1996, he joined Al Khoory Marine, Dubai as Commercial Engineer. After a brief career in Adams Ship Repair, Dubai, he joined Rich Marine in 2001 as Sales Engineer and continued till he started his own firm APT Global Marine Services LLC, Dubai in 2004. Today he is the Chief Executive Officer of APT Global, a company which has over 600 employees having branches in Qatar, Netherlands and India.

As one of the founders of APT Global, Anil has Provided strategic, operational and fiscal leadership to make it one of the best organizations in the Middle East. Revamped internal procedures / controls and implemented best practices and performance monitoring system in support of continuous improvement. Initiated brand strategy and achieved spectacular results.He is responsible for Sales / Commercial and Growth strategy of the group.


SHANKAR V.G

With 14 years of experience in marine and offshore Industry, Shankar started his career as Commerical engineer in Western india Shipyard and moved to Bharati Shipyard and ABG Shipyard wherein he was involved with the Design and production Engineering of Vessels being constructed including four JU2000A offshore rigs being built for Essar Oilfields services. Shankar then moved on to DNV-GL Noble Denton in 2012, wherein he was involved with project management of a reactivation project of Transocean rigs and a lift boat being constructed at NPCC, AbuDhabi. Later he shifted to Aqualis offshore marine services, a design and project management firm wherein he was involved as client representative for refurbishment projects of Seafox Rigs. He was also involved as project manager for the detail engineering and construction support of three numbers Landing craft being build for Kuwait Navy at AbuDhabi Ship building. Shankar is a highly motivated, task oriented person and his knowledge in the shipbuilding and refurbishment industry is comprehensive and current.
